Advent competition terms and conditions

  1. The Promoter:

  2. Eligibility:

    The promotion is open to people, who are aged 18 or over and in any case according to the laws of their homeland permitted to participate in promotions. The promotion is not open to ACTS Group employees, agencies, any associated companies, their immediate family members or households (whether related or not), and anyone else professionally involved with this promotion.

  3. To enter:

    The participant must visit the Beach advent calendar 2024 advent.beachvolleyball.at.

    The aim is for the participant to submit their Salutation, First name, Last name, Home country and E-mail address, behind each advent window on the corresponding day. Each day, during the course of the competition, a winner will be chosen by the ACTS Sportveranstaltungen GmbH from all completed applications received. By participating in this promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  4. Promotion period:

    This promotion runs from 00.01 CEST on 1st December 2024 until 23.59 CEST on 24th December 2024.

  5. Prizes:

    1. One winner will receive a prize each during the course of the competition. In total 24 prize packages can be won. Prizes will also be sent out after the promotion period. The prize(s) is non-transferable, non-refundable; no cash alternative is available. Please note the prize limitations as stated under section c. and section 6.
    2. The winners will be selected from the eligible participants (in accordance with section 2 above), who submitted their Salutation, First name, Last name, Home country and E-mail address on the Beach advent calendar 2024 page.
    3. Prize limitations expense limitations: ACTS Sportveranstaltungen GmbH will not subside any expenses for winners including, but not limited to, transport, accommodation and all other costs incurred.

  6. Winner Selection and Notification:

    1. The winners will be selected by lot and notified by a member of the ACTS Sportveranstaltungen GmbH team by latest January 10, 2025 via an email to the winner’s selected email address. If the winner does not get back to ACTS Sportveranstaltungen GmbH by the 31st of January, the prize will be redrawn.
    2. ACTS Sportveranstaltungen GmbH will ship the prizes to the winner’s address once they provide it within the EU at their own expense. If the winner lives outside the EU the ACTS Sportveranstaltungen GmbH does not bear the delivery costs.

  7. Data Protection:

    Participants’ personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with ACTS Sportveranstaltungen GmbH Data Privacy Policy available at: https://www.beachvolleyball.at/en/3127/privacy-policy

  8. General:

    1. Submissions will be rejected by the promoter if they:
      1. contain defamatory, malicious, indecent or other inappropriate content;
      2. include trademarks, logos or copyrighted material not owned by participants or otherwise; infringe upon any person's personal or proprietary rights or
      3. violate any applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
    2. By entering the promotion the participant agrees and gives the promoter the right to publish his forename, nationality and hometown in case of being selected as a winner (as set out in section 6).
    3. The promoter is not liable for any damage, direct or indirect loss, injury, costs, expenses or claims suffered by participants as a result of entering and participating in this promotion.
    4. The promoter is not liable if the package does not arrive.
    5. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend this promotion and these terms and conditions in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control or if it considers necessary to do so in the promoter’s absolute discretion.
    6. In the event of any dispute the promoter’s decision is final.
    7. These terms and conditions and the promotion shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Austrian Courts.
